Building Upon the Legacy of the Boston Public Library

Boston Public Library Development Director requested a new logo for their 1848 Society that would fit in with the existing BPLF brand. The 1848 Society was created to build upon the BPL Fund legacy by honoring donors who make a gift to the Library in their will or estate plans. We used the same graphic elements/colors/font from the BPLF to create the new logo. The new logo has a timeless style that recombines the BPLF logo elements into a blooming flower or a lantern, while maintaing a strong brand affinity.
